A Biscuit, A Prayer and Intentional Evangelism

I recently received this report from one of the churches I have trained in evangelism, praying for the community and follow-up. This is a restart, or church revitalization. The former pastor’s stance on evangelism took the church on a nose dive from running over 400 down to 40. Praise God for pastors who have not bought into the lie that evangelism does not work.

Dr. Benny Pate, Preaching

This morning 16 volunteers arrived before daylight and gave out Biscuit Bags and Prayed for more than 50 people.  One lady who stopped by said,  “I’ve heard about churches reaching out, but I never saw it until this morning.”  A man in a black leather jacket whose name was “Bad Company” received a buscuit and we prayed for him that Jesus would touch his life and make it good.  In all, we touched 50 people personnally and 100’s who passed by and saw what we were doing. I know what we did for Jesus this morning will bear much fruit and that many souls will be encouraged in the Lord.

Bring a friend or family member with you to revival tonight and tomorrow night.  Let’s fill up our church for Jesus during the revival and expect God to do amazing things.  God’s word says, “He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake” (Psalm 23:3).  That’s what revival is. There are many people who need a fresh touch from Jesus.  There are people you know who need the encouragement of the Holy Spirit. God is ready to change lives and hearts if we will let Him.  Let God have His way tonight and join in worship with us at Grace.

Pray! Pray! Pray!  Ask God to pour out His great love and the Holy Spirit upon us.  Pray that God will bless the Block Party at Creekside Apartments tomorrow. Pray that someone will give their heart to Jesus and that God will multiply the impact of our church for the glory of Christ.  SEE YOU ALL TONIGHT AT CHURCH.

I love you all,

Pastor Mike
